How to use these Dynamic Block (Autocad) files

Autocad version 2006 or later is required to access the dynamic block features of these drawings.

Using Autocad's dynamic features you may:

• Select the text scale
• Select the options e.g. post type for shelters
• Select the view
• Place the block to other than 1 scale factor (if drafting units set to, say, 'metres' then place at a scale of 0.001 as the blocks are in millimetres)
• Explode the block if required, or…
• Alter the colours and line weights within the layer property manager without exploding the block.

If your Web Browser offers you the choice between "Save" or "Open" - choose "save" then open the drawing in Autocad from your hard disk.

If your Web Browser attempts to open the file without giving the option to save, return to this page and 'Right Click' on the download link, then select "Save Target As..." from the options.
